Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Heritage Day!


Its going to be a fly fishy good time...
The Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Museum Association will host its 6th annual Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Heritage Day celebration June 14 on the banks of Yellow Breeches Creek at Allenberry Resort in Boiling Springs, Cumberland County. The event, which is from 8:30 am-4 pm, will include fly casting clinics by expert instructors such as Bobby Clouser and Dave Rothrock, a fly casting competition, fly-tying demonstrations, a women's fly-fishing meeting, on-stream insect identification workshops, antique tackle appraisals, cane rod building demonstrations and more. Advance tickets for the event, including a buffet lunch, are $12. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event for $7, with a limited number of lunch tickets to be available for an additional $8 Admission is free for children ages 15 and younger.
