New from Redington

BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASH. (June 11, 2015) – Redington continues to push innovation forward in the wading category with updated waders and new wading boots for men, women, and kids, and apparel for men for 2016.
Women see an update to the Willow River Waders with 3-layer waterproof, breathable, DWR-coated fabric, reinforced knees, high-density neoprene booties, and a fleece-lined pocket for the ultimate in comfort and durability. In the ladies wading boot category, Redington introduces the new Siren Boot and updates the Willow River boot.
Both boots offer protection with rubber rands and soles and dry quickly thanks to quick-drying and quick-draining synthetic materials. The Siren Boot has a molded PU midsole to be strong yet lightweight. Both the Siren and Willow River boot have a wide sole for stability and a padded collar for ankle support. Both boots come in sticky rubber and felt and are compatible with studs. The waders and boots will be available in August 2015 and will retail for $159.95 for the Willow River Waders, $109.95 for the Willow River Boot and $149.95 for the Siren Boot.
Redington also updates the Palix River Wader for men with performance features at a great value. Using the same material as the women’s Willow River, the Palix River come in both a standard chest wader as well as a wading pant. Both styles feature 100% polyester, 3-layer, DWR coated fabric, and strategically placed seams in high-wear areas for greater durability. Integrated wading belt and gravel guards are also included. The chest waders feature a fleece-lined chest pocket, flip out pocket with zipper, and reinforced knees.
Redington also continues to advance design innovation in its quality reels, and that has never been truer than in its two new reel models, the BEHEMOTH and the Zero.
“We set out to push and challenge the traditional boundaries of reel design with both the BEHEMOTH and Zero reels, achieving some incredible performance levels,” comments Redington reel designer Paul Richardson. “The Behemoth combines the most powerful drag in its class with visually stunning and harmonious aesthetics, whilst the Zero sets a new standard for supreme lightweight performance within trout fishing.”
The Behemoth reels are the most powerful drag system fly reels in their class, offering over 30lbs of torque. They feature a diecast construction that is impossible to CNC machine, offering unrivalled strength and durability as well as a large arbor design to speed retrieve times and reduce line memory.
The drag package features super-heavy duty carbon fiber and stainless steel braking discs for the utmost in reliability and power, and the oversized drag adjustment knob makes it very simple to access and adjust. The deep v-spool increases backing capacity for epic fish battles and a new twin molded handle improves grip and comfort. These reels are supplied with a nylon reel case and a lifetime warranty.
