A Nice Elk Hair Caddis Tutorial

Time to get ORGANIZED...

or, who's bringing what?
Stew said something about bringing some of this and some eggs, but man cannot survive on breakfast alone.

This'll make you feel old...

Not only does he have a profound knowledge of 80's pop music,

Complicated love from Freestyle fish - fsFly on Vimeo.

but he also looks to be younger than Bear's chronological age.

How can this injustice be allowed to exist without the reconciliation of the seemingly paradoxical combination of matter and antimatter?

Interesting!

Behold the Williams Warn Personal Brewery...

Make 6 gallons of your personal brew in only 7 days.  Brew, clarify, carbonate and dispense from this single unit apparatus.  Fill up a growler for to-go beverages.  As near as I can tell, only one hang-up, you have to finish a batch before you start the next.  All this can be yours for the low-low price of $5660.00 at http://www.williamswarn.com/

Day Late Bacon & WB Brown

Stopped in Friday at the Circle Deli @ Public Square in Wilkes Barre for a lunch snadwich and found this specimen...
known as the Owens Original, (a classic BLT on rye with the added dimension of 4 slices of gyuyere cheese.  Mmm, mmm, mmmm, tasty!

After the process mapping festivities concluded I stopped off at a local watering hole to sample something called a "Dirty Hoe."  More later, but it involves Hoegarden and Framboise...

And now for today's update.  The WB's browns at the Woofing Canine hole were quite interested in size 14 rusty spinners this evening.  I caught 2 smallish ones before returning to the chateau and my lovely bride.
Keep in mind that the net is very large...

Penns Creek

Penns was slightly high but not to bad. The March Browns were hatching with lots of spinners in the evening but not many fell. We did have some luck on the surface though. All together a good day.

Belgian Tripel should be ready for game time...
Walked downstream from the Chateau so that Nori could photograph the new eagle's nest.

Memorial Day Weekend

I think it is time to get the discussion started on the plan for Memorial day weekend. First off who is in? Second off where are we going? Shall we try to camp for drakes on Penns? Is the Chateau de "Lewis" for the sulfurs and drift boating on the West Branch again an option for the weekend? Or shall we do a very unconvential weekend and hand out wedgies to nerds at the "Fanime" Convention in San Jose California. We can also decide on important questions like: who has the best home brew or will John be sporting a "Bota Bag" for the weekend.

Fly Vines

Seemingly in answer to RecycledWaders corner on the "green" fly fishing used equipment market, Fly Vines has found several very interesting ways to bring new life to old fly lines. Their catalog includes lanyards,
and sunglasses retainers.
