Still waiting for feedback...

on the possible addition of Miss Fly Fishing to the Friday awesomeness that is Minion Fly Fishing?

Tuesday, April 15th is coming up quickly...

Friday Bacon!

Just a few random bacon experiences to share with all the Minions this week:
Who would have thought that Elvis was kickin' back in a slice o' bacon?

A stylish chapeu for all you hipsters.
Further confirmation that bacon is, truly, the source of all that is worth living for.
And finally, if laser awesome bacon was not quite enough, I bring you, the shoulder fired, infinitely reusable, and awesome-awesome, bacon launcher.  For those redneck moments when PVC pipe is just insufficient and not nearly manly enough, by a long shot!

Happy Friday!

Boat Paint Job

Before...

.the inside.
I hope this will be of amusement for some.

Good on ya Doc!

Bar Flies...

no, not this kind.

Rather a more artistic and nuanced type of fly from a bar.

A Note from the Director
Welcome to our third Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Show in historic Lancaster. We are excited to return with a packed hall of exhibitors and fly tiers. With the Lancaster location fly fishers can travel conveniently from several metropolitan areas within an hour or more and enjoy this great show.

Once again the quality talks and demonstrations are scheduled
with many of Pennsylvania’s finest fly-fishing celebrities as well as nationally known instructors. The show stars are the sport’s best and you can meet them face to face with your questions and conversations. There are over 40 seminars each day, casting demos at two ponds, and dozens of fly tiers sharing their secrets for you to learn. For a more intimate experience be sure to check out our “Classes with the Experts” and select the best one for you.

Tell your friends about the show if they missed it last year. Get ready to see just about every new rod, reel, tying material, book and DVD our sport has to offer. They’ll be products new for 2014 and plenty of show deals to entice you to stock up for the coming season.

The International Film Festival was so popular it will be back again on Saturday evening with an awesome line-up of films from exotic fly fishing around the globe.

So have a great time. Enjoy your visit to Lancaster, our show, and the film festival. Come early and stay late. I’ll be here and look forward to seeing you.
