Hordes of Locusts!

Seventeen year periodic cicadas are emerging from the South to New England.
Cicadas, commonly called locusts, are on schedule for a major orgie for the next few weeks.
Despite their creepy bright red devil eyes, trout just love 'em. Stream reports note that the combination of their awkward flying abilities and a good breeze can bring up the big boys.
Brood XIV will appear in parts of Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Just watch what happens when you run your lawn mower. It's a siren song for these amorous cicadas. Next stop, 2025
