First time using my repaired Beulah 2 weeks ago. $75 dollars required for repair. 4 week turnaround time. Returned with a new rod grip section in lieu of repair. Still works like a charm:-) Rod was broken early this season, on its third trip out, while trying to break off a very large King Salmon that had taken my stonefly nymph while pursuing steelhead. Unfortunately then line held and the rod broke off.
Those reading this post later than 2011 should note that switch rods have continued to evolve and price points have migrated. But the Beulah continues on as a workhorse.
