I have been thinking of acquiring some form motorless water craft for floating local creeks and more so the mighty Susquehanna. The primary purpose of said craft would be for fly fishing practices but also for stealth approaches on waterfowl come the season. So the question arises do I want one of these...
Or one of these...
Any feed back and input on the two and recommendations is greatly appreciated.

I have float the Susquehanna in a two man kayak, and I believe it is the to go. Easy to load/unload and launch, and they are easy to paddle.
Shut up Curly!
I've got a fishcat panther pontoon that I fish out of alot on everything from small streams to large tailwaters. I really like it , but like everything else it has it's pros and cons.
Probably the biggest con is the assembly and dis-assembly if you don't have a trailer or other way to transport it. If you get a high profile version (mine isn't) they also catch some wind on those blustery days.
They have several pros over a kayak as well in my opinion , such as the knowledge of knowing that I can re-tie and drink a beer while floating downstream and not worry about hitting an obstacle and flipping over. I can carry several days worth of camping and fishing gear on mine no problem. Probably the biggest selling point for me is the convenience of being able to float along and just slide off the seat and be standing in a run I want to fish (I use a bungee cord looped between the eyes on the end of the pontoons and then when I step off my boat the bungee keeps it from going anywhere while I fish). While I do this my buddies in yaks are paddling to shore , getting out of their boat and wading back out to the spot that I've already fished and am now floating on downstream to the next spot.
Just a few thoughts that I have on the subject from my personal experiences...hope it was of some help.
Thanks for the input I think I'm going to go with the pontoon for now Cabelas has a few on special. I think it will be easier to mount something to hold a shotgun for ducks also.
