You've seen the Olympic kayak course, why not with drift boats?
Put in at Indian Country, take out at West Branch Angler, with a dozen or so "obstacles" in between, (each obstacle monitored by an impartial judge), with the lowest time and fewest penalties declared the winner.
Just string a rope across the river, at really inconvenient places, and hang white sticks from them. If touched, ouch, penalty point. If missed, ouch, penalty time.
What Guide in his, (or her), right mind wouldn't want to put away a little fast cash before winter?
For kicks you could even throw in an obstacle course for drift boat trailer maneuvering...

Think of it as a drift boat rodeo!
Another thought, add in an angler who must remain standing and overcome several casting obstacles.
